As much as it pains me to say it, the world will have to wait for Floyd "Money" Mayweather to get in the ring with Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao.

However, boxing fans will get to see what I think is just as exciting of a fight as the one that was called off earlier this year because of disagreements over Olympic-style drug tests.

Mayweather is set to fight "Sugar" Shane Mosley because Mosley's scheduled fight was cancelled when Haitian-American Andre Berto pulled out of the fight to travel to Haiti to help with the relief effort after losing family members in the earthquake.

What more could a boxing fan ask for? Boxing is in dyer need of a cash cow. Especially since brothers Wladimir and Vitali Klitschko rule the heavyweight division, and the fact that they have vowed never to fight each other, which is attributed to their mother not allowing them to do so. What kind of brothers don't want to duke it out? I don't have a brother, but if I did, and we were ranked No. 1 and No. 2 in the world, we would vow not to ruin a whole boxing division and fight each other.

But I guess for now, the welterweight division will have to do, which isn't hard to settle for.

I can't wait for the weigh-in, let alone the fight, mostly because Mayweather is always entertaining. He talks about as fast as he throws a combination of punches.

Mosley isn't exactly boring either. During a promotional tour with Mayweather, it became evident that the fighters really don't like each other. Mosley also speaks his mind and is quite confident.

He was quoted as saying, "No disrespect, but I really don't think he's been in there with a fighter like me. I believe that when I beat Floyd, I will send him into retirement. May 1 will be Mayweather's first loss."

And that is quite possible.

Mosley may not be as quick as Mayweather, but he packs a bit more of a punch. Mosley is 46-5 with one no contest and 39 knockouts. That means he wins about 85 percent of his fights by knockout. Amazing.

Mayweather though, being the undisputed big-talking champion of the world, has said that Mosley's power doesn't bother him, that Mosley punches with his eyes closed and is distracted by divorce proceedings.

Mayweather may have a little room to run his mouth because he's currently undefeated with a record of 40-0 and 25 knockouts.

I hope it isn't this long again until two superstars square off. Hop in the ring already, Klitschko brothers.
