The Center for International Programs and the Student Government Association are sponsoring a ski trip to Winter Place Ski Resort on Sunday for international and U.S. resident Marshall University students.

Cost of tickets for the trip is $55. Students who bring their own ski equipment can purchase tickets for $25. Tickets will be sold to international students until Wednesday; U.S. resident Marshall students will be able to purchase the remaining tickets Thursday through Saturday.

"Initially, this trip was planned for solely international students," said Hamid Bundu, international students organization public relations officer. "We are one big family at Marshall University and therefore, we decided that the trip will not be restricted only to international students but to all who want to participate."

Tickets include bus transportation and an all day ski lift pass. The bus will depart from the Memorial Student Center on Sunday at 9:30 am and will return at 9 pm.

"The goal for this trip is to incorporate West Virginia culture into the experience of the international students," said Job Breemer ter Stege, president of international students' organizations. "This trip is a very good way for them to learn more about each other and also to discover the beautiful nature of America and West Virginia, outside of the university."
